DMU 70 ecoline – perfect symbiosis of functionality and technology for precise 5-sided machiningIn addition to the successful DMU 50 ecoline DMG MORI now offers another precise machining centre for 5-sided machining, the all new DMU 70 ecoline. The machine addresses quality-oriented and price-conscious users who are looking for 5-sided machining options for larger workpieces: The DMU 70 ecoline features traverse paths of 750 x 600 x 520 mm in X / Y / Z. The NC swivel rotary table impresses with a clamping area of Ø 800 x 620 mm, a swivel range of -10° to +95° and a load capacity of 350 kg.
Furthermore, the machine features digital drives and hydraulic clamping. A powerful 12,000 rpm milling spindle well as rapid traverse rates of 24 m/min in the linear axes ensure high performance, while the 32-pocket SK40 chain tool magazine with double gripper provides the necessary versatility. Moreover, the machine comes with a 3D quickSET for precision calibration of the machine kinematics and is automation-ready. The user can choose between two CNCs: SIEMENS 840D with Operate 4.5 and HEIDENHAIN TNC 620 – both integrated into the ergonomic SLIMline® Panel.
