IndustryArena expands in Europe
IndustryArena, the biggest online portal for production engineering with more than 390.000 registered users, operates since spring 2015 as the umbrella brand of the CNC-Arena GmbH. Now the company expands into Spain with a joint venture agreement.
„Within the European Union, Spain is the third largest producers and exporters of machine tools. This country exports more than 80 percent of its produced machine tools – after China, Germany is a main customer. On that score this market is very interesting for our growth strategy“, Frank Nolden, Managing Director of CNC-Arena GmbH, said. According to the official external trade statistics and the German Machine Tool Builders` Association Germany imported machine tools for about 72 million euros from Spain in the year 2014. On the other hand, machine tools were exported to Spain to the value of nearly 150 million euros.
Currently CNC-Arena GmbH prepares for the expansion to Spain. „From September 2015 the online portal www. industryarena.com will offer its contents in German, English and Spanish“, Nolden explained. In future, manufacturers, distributors, service providers and purchasers will present their products and company information more internationally. Especially smaller and medium-sized companies will be able to open up new market areas.
To offer an even more efficient service to the customers of IndustryArena, CNC-Arena GmbH enters a cooperation with Clúster Marketing and Communication agency. As a subsidiary of the Spanish Grupo Nova Àgora, the company belongs to the leading enterprise group in the Spanish B2B sector. Jordi Duran, managing director of Clúster MC, is delighted with the cooperation: „One of the strengths of CNC-Arena is the diversity of tools available to the customer“, Duran said.
The expansion strategy of CNC-Arena GmbH obtains not only to Spain, it rather encloses the whole Europe. „We will build up in the medium-term other strategical alliances in Europe“, according to Nolden. Subsequently the development of the market in Latin America moves in focus. The Spanish partner Clúster has already collected experiences on this continent. „There is a high demand for technological information from Latin America“, Duran explained.
