Archroma has spent decades on developing new products for traditional application systems where the focus was on solutions for full impregnation or exhaust, both resource intense concepts. The initial cooperation with Baldwin was a step change to functionalize textile surfaces by spraying chemicals with less water and energy demand, which opened new pathways for our product development strategy. And will be taken a step further now with joint forces from Monforts.
BW Converting's Baldwin TexCoat™ G4 is rapidly becoming known as the worldwide standard for replacing traditional padding technology, allowing for lower carbon footprints (less energy consumption), reductions in water and chemistry, and higher production speeds. The partnership with Archroma and Monforts is accelerating the transition to more sustainably produced textiles and improving the textile manufacturer's profitability.
Monforts has long focused on developing optimised processes paired with energy-efficient machine layouts. New application technologies paired with the right machine pave the way to a future oriented change in textile finishing.
