Angular Heads - TA series

OMG angle heads are designed to perform those operations which cannot be carried out with horizontal or vertical machines except by further piece positioning. They therefore permit cutting the time and cost of mechanical operations. What is more, by increasing the machine flexibility and acting in some cases as a real and true supplementary axis, they can be considered as an additional tool fitted to the machine. Suitable for traditional machine tools, machining centres with automatic tool change and turning centres with motorised turret, the OMG heads offer an extremely broad standard range that goes from the smallest, weighing just 4.5 kg, to the largest, which weighs 150 kg. The range of OMG angle heads is fixed or variable with outfeed up to ISO50 DIN2079, 1 or 2 spindles, with coolant supply through tool centre for low and high pressure option. Over 50 different models, each adaptable to various types of machines, with anti-rotation pin for automatic or manual tool change, with power feed unit for fixed assembly in case of the machine being dedicated to just one piece. A range of angle heads is also available with VDI coupling. Among the accessories are anti-rotation devices with three supporting points, to ensure utmost strength in the case of heavy-duty operations.
