This state-of-the-art machine is designed to deliver exceptional productivity and precision, making it an ideal solution for manufacturers seeking to optimize their machining processes.

The AF-4 is engineered for high-speed, high-accuracy machining of complex parts. Its high-speed spindle, capable of reaching up to 15,000 rpm (with an optional 20,000 rpm), delivers 37 kW of power and 303 Nm of torque (221 Nm at 20,000 rpm), ensuring rapid material removal and superior surface finishes. Built on a heavy-duty cast iron bed weighing 10,000 kg, the machine offers outstanding rigidity and vibration damping, essential for maintaining precision during intensive operations.

Efficiency is a hallmark of the AF-4, with a standard 40-tool magazine (expandable to 60) and a chip-to-chip tool change time of just 4.6 seconds, minimizing downtime. The machine supports a 400 mm pallet with a 400 kg load capacity and axis strokes of 565 mm (X), 645 mm (Y), and 645 mm (Z), with rapid traverse rates of 60 m/min in all axes for quick positioning. Optional automation solutions, such as pallet changers and robotic loading systems, enhance productivity for high-volume production environments.

Key features include a stable rotary table with backlash-free NC control, providing high rigidity for heavy-duty machining. In-house manufactured spindles with oil-air lubrication and active temperature monitoring ensure consistent performance. Additional options like coolant through spindle, mechanical tool breakage detection, and excellent chip disposal further optimize operations. The machine’s dynamic linear guides, pretensioned ball screws, and 800-liter coolant tank support long, uninterrupted machining cycles.
