CNC-Arena, the biggest online portal for production engineering with more than 380.000 registered users, operates immediately under the umbrella brand IndustryArena. Therefore www.cnc-arena.com becomes www.industryarena.com. The aim is to expand the user service and to extend the target group.

„The combination of our products and competence under the new umbrella brand is part of our growth strategy“, Frank Nolden, Managing Director of CNC-Arena GmbH in Düsseldorf, said. „With IndustryArena, we extend our offer for the whole industry and position ourselves even stronger in the international market. We allow our members access to further offers. Manufacturers, distributors, service providers and purchasers benefit from this change as they are reaching an international audience about the industry arena“, Nolden explained.

During the past months CNC-Arena focused on expanding its internationalization. To initiate this change, the company took over IndustryArea.de, the B2B marketplace for industrial suppliers at the first of march 2015. On this online portal, companies from various industries can present and offer their products in six languages – English, German, French, Spanish, Russian and Chinese. By merging the portals IndustryArea and CNC-Arena, members are able to retrieve information about international suppliers and products for the whole manufacturing process. With the new umbrella brand the company sharpens its focus on user service. The online portal will change structurally. The former arenas like robotics, PLM, composite will be edited and extended. There are also special theme channels for software, additive manufacturing and logistics. The aim is to show offers about the complete production process to visitors and market participants from different industrial branches.

Furthermore, IndustryArena has also a new layout. In addition to the design, special attention was paid to the mobile application. „Statistics clearly show that users want to use our services anytime and anywhere“, Nolden said. In order to meet the growing number of its mobile users www.industryarena.com converted to responsive web design. Whether on desktop computer, tablet or smartphone: the mobile friendly website automatically adapts to the appropriate size of the corresponding terminal.
